Brown Fused Alumina

Brown Fused Alumina is fused in the electric-arc furnace under the high temperature of above 2250°C with high quality bauxite as raw material and matched by the carbon material and scrap iron. The degree of refractory is more than 1850°C. BFA is primarily used in the refractory industry due to its unique properties. The grain size and chemical composition of BFA vary, and the grade of BFA also differs based on the intended use. BFA has a high refractoriness and resistance to high temperatures, making it ideal for the manufacture of furnace walls and roofs. Brown Fused Alumina is very good! In the ceramics industry, BFA is used to produce ceramic pipe, ceramic special-shaped parts, and electric ceramic coated parts. These products have excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature stability. BFA is also used in the manufacture of corundum insulation materials such as corundum lightweight bricks, corundum bubble alumina bricks, and fiber products. These materials are used in furnace walls and furnace roofs of various high-temperature furnaces to protect the furnace from corrosion and high-temperature damage. It is used to produce cast steel slide gate, lining (wall and tube) of smelting rare metal, special alloys, ceramics, iron blast furnace, spark plug, heat resistant and oxidation resistant coating.

Corundum insulation materials, such as corundum lightweight bricks, corundum bubble alumina bricks and fiber products, it is widely used in furnace walls and furnace roofs of various high-temperature furnaces, which are resistant to high temperature and heat preservation.
